Description:The Geography major provides students with an interdisciplinary approach across the physical and social sciences to engage with issues across scales, from community sustainability to global environmental change. Within the program of studies it is possible for students, through course selection, to follow a particular line of interest. For example: climate change, watershed management, food security, environmental conservation, community sustainability, or energy planning. The Co-op program in Geography provides students with the opportunity to further explore their line of interest over their paid work terms in their field.

  •  Grade12 English 

Applicants are required to have English (ENG4U), and 5 additional 4U or 4M courses. Students applying to the University directly from high school will be considered for admission to Co-op. Normally, a minimum average of 80% is required for consideration, but exact cut-offs are determined by the quantity and quality of the applicant pool as well as space available in each program. All students, including International applicants, are encouraged to explore Co-operative Education as an option.
